About Catherine


Dr Catherine studied medicine at Cambridge University achieving an MA in immunology and virology. She studied clinical medicine at University College London and graduated with distinction. She completed her specialist dermatology training at a number of prestigious central London teaching hospitals. 

 

Dr Catherine draws on a wealth of experience to assist in solving all your dermatology concerns. During her role as an NHS consultant she was clinical lead for skin cancer and ran the highly specialised  adult Langerhan’s Cell Histiocytosis service at Hammersmith hospital. She was recently appointed to chair of the Royal Marsden Partners skin cancer pathway group and enjoys ensuring excellence in skin cancer managment. 

 

She lectures widely internationally and is a key opinion leader in dermatology and senior advisory consultant on product development with international companies including L’Oreal, Bioderma and Galderma. Recent highlights include working with L’Oreal to support children with eczema; senior advisory consultant to L’Oreal in the oncology field; and dermatology advisor to Galderma on acne managment. She is a spokesperson for the British Association of Dermatologists and is regularly featured in the media including the Sunday Times, the Daily Mail, the Independent, Vogue, Tatler, the Evening Standard, Stylist, Glamour and Cosmopolitan to name a few. 

 

She consults privately in central London and Surrey where she specialises in inflammatory skin diseases including eczema, acne and psoriasis and sun damage and skin cancers. Additional areas of specialist clinical interest include skin surveillance strategies and the early detection of skin cancer using mole mapping, acne and acne scarring management. 

 

Friendly and approachable she is frequently called on for her dermatology expertise when skin is misbehaving.

Jackie Olive

Jackie has been a medical secretary for many years working initially in the NHS but subsequently in the private sector and has a great deal of experience in running a busy London practice. In her leisure time she enjoys long walks with her dog, reading, socialising with friends and family and spending time with her twin grandsons.

Rebecca Bromley

Rebecca is the Practice Manager of CB Dermatology. Her background in health and wellbeing, legal, financial, and operational management allows her to effectively manage the daily operations of the practice while also providing exceptional care to patients. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys curating a beautiful domestic space and creating her own music as well as spending time with her family.

As a plastic surgery/dermatology partnership with my husband Mr Nanidis, we offer a comprehensive skin service for all skin conditions. These range from any general dermatological condition, cosmetic removal of moles and managing complex skin cancers.
